Na Facebook profilu privatnog korisnika objavljena je fotografija (arhivirano <a href="https://archive.li/TQtst">ovdje</a>) pok ojnog pjevača Tomislava Ivčića uz koju stoji sljedeći tekst: “Danas je 30 godina od ubojstva Tomislava Ivšića Hrvatskog aktivista i pjevača kantautora. Laka ti Hrvatska gruda“.

Fotografija je objavljena 4. ožujka, a od tada je prikupila 5 dijeljenja, 20 komentara i 55 ostalih reakcija.

U statusu uz fotografiju netočno se navodi pjevačevo prezime, naime on se prezivao Ivčić, a ne Ivšić kao što piše. Također, netočno se navodi da je pjevač ubijen. Naime, 4. ožujka 1993. Ivčić je poginuo u prometnoj nesreći u Zagrebu.
Kako piše portal <a href="https://www.24sata.hr/show/proslo-je-30-godina-od-tragicne-smrti-legendarnog-tomislava-ivcica-pjesme-i-danas-zive-895367">24sata,</a> &nbsp;Ivčić je svojim Mercedesom pokušao izbjeći pješakinju koja je istrčala na kolnik. Prešao je u traku za suprotni smjer i frontalno se sudario s drugim automobilom. Uz Ivčića, u nesreći su poginule još tri osobe. Pjevač je pokopan na zagrebačkom Mirogoju, a iza njega ostali su supruga Slavica i troje djece.
Biografija
Tomislav Ivčić rođen je u Zadru 1953. godine. Već 70-ih godina prošloga stoljeća postao jedan od najpopularnijih pjevača i skladatelja u Hrvatskoj, ali i na cijelom prostoru tadašnje Jugoslavije. Već u ranoj mladosti postao je jedan od najpoznatijih hrvatskih kantautora s bogatim glazbenim opusom. Stigao je u Zagreb kao srednjoškolac, ovdje upoznao buduću suprugu Slavicu, s kojom se vjenčao 1979.
U karijeri je napisao više od 200 pjesama i izdao 23 albuma prodana u više od 2 i pol milijuna primjeraka. Njegove pjesme bile su spoj popa i tradicionalnog dalmatinskog izričaja.
Njegova najpopularnija pjesma je ‘Večeras je naša fešta’. Pjesma koja je od objave 1986. postala neslužbena himna cijele Dalmacije, i dan-danas nezaobilazna je na veseljima, a zbog “Kalelarge” mnogi su odlučili posjetiti Zadar. Tijekom rata posebno je bila popularna njegova pjesma “Stop the war in Croatia” koju je otpjevao na engleskom jeziku.
Tomislav Ivčić je u veljači 1993. godine na list HDZ-a<a href="https://www.izbori.hr/arhiva-izbora/data/parlament/1993/rezultati/1993_2_Rezultati_Sabor_zupanijski_dom.pdf"> izabran za zastupnika u Županijski dom Sabora </a>&nbsp;u izbornoj jedinici koja je pokrivala Zagrebačku županiju. Mjesec dana nakon tih izbora preminuo je u prometnoj nesreći.
Zaključno, u statusu privatnog korisnika netočno se navodi da je Tomislav Ivčić ubijen. Kao što je poznato, pjevač je poginuo u prometnoj nesreći u Zagrebu u ožujku 1993.
