Fotografija nije snimljena u Zagrebu, nego u Berlinu 1945. godine, nakon ulaska sovjetskih trupa u njemačku prijestolnicu.

Fotografija što prikazuje vojnika koji na ulici ženi želi oduzeti bicikl, dok oko njih stoji petnaestak prolaznika, nije snimljena u Zagrebu, kako to sugeriraju opisi koji su se početkom svibnja proširili društvenim mrežama.
U netočnim opisu predmetne fotografije stoji:

Da su korisnici Facebooka nekritički prihvatili ponuđeni kontekst u kojem je fotografija navodno snimljena najbolje govore komentari poput ovog:
“Tu bagru treba prokazivati, objavljivati stare fotografije zločinaca, ne radi tifusarskih potomaka već naroda koji to ne zna, nisu mu u školi o tome govorili ali je već odavno došlo vrijeme da se istina sazna! Na žalost, većina hrvatskog naroda i dalje se pravi slijepa, gluha, “ne bi se šteli mešati”, kao da ih se to ne tiče…”
Fotografija, rekosmo, nije snimljena u Zagrebu, nego u Berlinu, nakon ulaska sovjetskih trupa u njemačku prijestolnicu.
Na internet stranici Njemačkog instituta za povijest, <a href="https://archive.ph/Lg98J#selection-253.8-260.1">točnije u internet kolekciji ovog instituta pod nazivom “Njemačka povijest u dokumentima i fotografijama”, uz fotografiju stoji ovaj opis</a>: “1945. godine bicikli su bili poželjno prijevozno sredstvo, a u Berlinu je bila potrebna posebna dozvola za njihovu vožnju. Ovdje, sovjetski vojnik u Berlinu pokušava oteti bicikl od njemačke žene. Izgleda da nije imala dozvolu, niti dokaz o istoj.”
Također, u opisu je navedeno da autor fotografije nije poznat. Na drugim mjestima navodi se <a href="https://archive.ph/quEbJ#selection-2761.13-2761.22">da je autor fotografije njemački fotograf Sammlung Megele</a>.

If you want to replace an existing title on a portal and you want the replaced title to be visible to you and your followers.

Move the mouse over the title and make a right click.

Claim made on -> date when someone published the claim.

After installing the Chrome extension, you can log in and use advanced functionalities. One of them is 'Dislike'.

By right-clicking on an article, the options provided by the Remedia extension are opened, by selecting Dislike, the article will become more transparent and less visible.

Your action will be visible to you and all people who follow you!

Alternate Title

1. Log in to the Remedia social network with a Google or Facebook account (link above right).

2. Install the Chrome extension (if you didn't)

4. Enter the email you used to open your Google or Facebook account. Submit.

5. After the input field appears, rewrite the code. Accept.
